Boka Halat’s village hall shows
consist of one concert set and one ceilidh set, involving
participation from the audience in both.
Since 2003 the band has toured in 14
different counties and will in 2008-09 make its fourth tour of one
West Midlands circuit.

DANCE TO IT!
Boka Halat’s music sets all but the most
churlish foot a-tapping and concert sets always encourage
spontaneous dancing.
The band can also play for ceilidhs/barn
dances, with Roger Watson calling, to give a new slant on an old
tradition. The World grooves kick in as soon as the caller starts
helping you find your way through the dance moves and the mix makes
you strut the old figures in a way they don’t usually get strutted!
